Gifts That Pay You Income
Did you know there’s a meaningful way to support Aish’s legacy for Jewish outreach and community work, and ensure financial security for your retirement years? You can achieve this through a charitable gift annuity.
A charitable gift annuity is simple. You make a gift to Aish of the Rockies in exchange for your gift of $25,000 or more in cash, stocks, securities, or qualified charitable distributions (QCDs limited to $53,000 in 2024). We agree to pay up to two individuals a fixed income for life. The payments never fluctuate and are not affected by changes in the economy or financial markets. The Aish CGA program is available to donors aged 65 and over. In return for your gift, you will get an income tax charitable deduction for a portion of your gift. In most cases some of your annuity payments will be partially tax-free for your life expectancy.
We adhere to the recommended maximum rates of the American Council on Gift Annuities (ACGA); the older you are when you start taking distributions, the higher the lifetime payout rate. Benefit immediately from your donation with a charitable tax deduction, save on capital gains and estate taxes, and collect fixed income from your gift throughout your lifetime.
Payments for Life
A Charitable Gift Annuity not only provides YOU with stable lifetime payments but also empowers AISH to continue our vital work in serving our community.
How it works
Joanne, 71, is eager to support Aish’s mission while securing their retirement finances. She decides to establish a $25,000 charitable gift annuity.
With her age, she qualifies for a payment rate of 6.4%, ensuring they receive $1,600 annually for the rest of her life. Additionally, she can claim a federal income tax charitable deduction of $9,835* when itemizing. She finds comfort in knowing that her contribution will continue supporting Aish’s mission beyond her lifetime.
*Based on a 5.2% charitable midterm federal rate. Deductions and calculations may vary based on individual circumstances.
